Back in Europe! Denmark here we come!

So. Back in Europe. Pick up Delilah in Lille and we're off to Denmark!

The Germans have these free camper van campsites all over the place. Very civilised. This is near Munster.

Pyrenees

So we headed up across the Pyrenees, for an overnight in Charente (near Angeloume)

We stopped for lunch in Laruns:

Spain! Nowhere!

So the ferry goes along at 25 kts, and there's a 10kt headwind - so Willow is doing a 'dog out of car window' impression in a 40mph gale:

An hour into the drive to Zaragoza it's baking hot. Willow leaves her feet out... toooo tempting not to bite her toes...

Finally we get on site, and get the canopy up.... looking good....

So we set off quite late, due to packing and stuff. But got to Portsmouth around 11pm. Ferry first thing, to Bilbao.

Preparations for Nowhere

So we have been told that the sun at Nowhere is very strong, it being northern Spain, and July, and all. So I decided to make a sun-shade from 80% UV block material...

The basic frame going up with lots of straps and poles...

So had a weekend away in the Lakes. Drigg Beach is recommended!

Fridge! Thermostat!

Have fitted a thermostat to the fridge, otherwise it runs 24/7. Now it seems to run about 50% duty cycle and stays at 8C. Result! (Obvs it's showing 15C as it has just started)

Also fitted a new thermostat to the engine. Tadaa!
