So we went to snowdonia and climbed a mountain. All systems working! Cab all clean! Then the leisure battery died. Damn.

I'd like to introduce you to Delilah's brain. A Raspberry Pi Zero W with a pHAT IO board. With which I shall control and monitor the solar panel charge system, split charger, and hopefully set up a tracker. :)

Battery box and electrics

So before I started on the kitchen unit, I wanted to get rid of the battery and tidy up the wiring. I'd also got hold of a £18 blutooth amplifier so i stuck a couple of JBLs on the lsit too...

First, a battery carrier. This was sized to take a 130Ah battery though the current one is 80Ah.

I found some angle iron in the shed... 

My dear wife says I make a mess everywhere I go. I don't know what she means.

OK, so it fits - after a bit of handy work with the jigsaw...

I plumbed in another USB charge port for the desk. And one JBL.

And the other JBL, the amplifier and the charge controller...

Actually quite neat wiring, for me...
The inverter is yet to go in.
